WWW Search Page Wizard (Alpha Release)
The WWW Search Page Wizard for Microsoft Visual FoxPro helps you create an HTML search page linked it to a Visual FoxPro table. After you run the wizard, you can use the web page it creates to query Visual FoxPro data.

To run the WWW Search Page Wizard you need an HTTP server running Visual FoxPro 3.0b.Note Visual FoxPro 3.0b is an enhanced version of Visual FoxPro 3.0. These enhancements include:
- Double-Byte Character Set enabled (DBCS) so it can be localized into Far Eastern languages
- SQL Server 6 ODBC drivers
- Windows 95 desktop ODBC drivers
- Updated Win32s support
- Level one support for OLE controls
- Some bug fixes
If you own Visual FoxPro 3.0, you can get Visual FoxPro 3.0b directly from Microsoft for $19.95 + shipping and handling. In the United States, call the Microsoft Order Desk at 1.800.360.7561. For information outside the United States, contact your local Microsoft subsidiary.
If you don't currently own Visual FoxPro, version 3.0b is the default product being shipped to stores beginning in January 1996.
Installation Instructions
After you have downloaded the files read "Using the Visual FoxPro WWW Search Page Wizard," a technical whitepaper that contains detailed information on running the wizard and setting up the Visual FoxPro Information Server. The WWW Search Page Wizard is an Alpha release and consequently is not supported by Microsoft PSS. However, we have included all the information you need in this whitepaper. Install SERVER.EXE (153KB). This self-extracting executable contains the Visual FoxPro Information Server files. Save this file to the Visual FoxPro 3.0b directory on your HTTP server. ![]()
Install WWWPAGE.EXE (141KB). This self-extracting executable contains the wizard application and template files. Save this file to the directory on the computer you will use to run the wizard. Visual FoxPro 3.0b must be installed on this computer.
